Bitcoin hit by profit-taking just ahead of 69k
Earlier today Bitcoin came very close to setting a new all time high. In the event it stalled just short of that, when peaking at 68,804. In real terms that is but a mere whisker shy of the November 2021 high, at 68,991. The fall from that earlier high today, delivered a move to a low at 65,250, but it has rebounded off that low now. So, it remains to be seen, if this rebound can challenge that all time high once more. Of course there is a risk that it will not and of that is the case, there is also potential for a major longer-term double top to be set in place. I am not taking any view on that and would prefer to see how the price action pans out this morning. Bitcoin is currently trading at 67,420
