Bitcoin has another look at 70k in weekend trading

On Friday afternoon, the slide in US yields, lower dollar and flying US stock markets all seemed to serve Bitcoin well. In fact, so well that it spiked above 70k for the first time ever. However, that sharp rise was followed by an even steeper fall. Bitcoin dropped rapidly from a record high at 70,085 to 66,185. The high and low were set either side of the 4pm London FX fix. After trading mostly sideways on Saturday, the lead coin had another look at 70k on Sunday morning, but it did not manage to reclaim the level, stalling at 69,991. The price action earlier this morning saw BTC take a hit lower and fall to a low at 67,194. However, it is on the rebound right now, as it rises back above 69k, currently trading at 69,205
