Bitcoin falls below 96k in Asia today

On Friday Bitcoin fell back into the 4pm London FX fix. That saw BTC fall to around 96,315. However, very soon after that it shot higher, rising to 98,868, That was just above the noted 50 day moving average (then in place around 98,660). However, as with the previous move higher, no sooner was it there, it was reversed. BTC dropped back to below 97k ahead of the wider US market close. That has rather unsurprisingly stymied weekend direction and led to another Saturday and Sunday of sideways price action, mostly in between 97k and 98k. Meantime the 50 and 100 day moving averages are still converging and in place right now at 98,844 and 97,447 respectively. The price action in Asia has seen BTC slip again after that lack of traction over the weekend. It has dropped below the 100 day moving average once more and also below 96k earlier. It has bounced a bit now, but not convincingly so. The low seen earlier was set at 95,837. The earlier session high was set at 97,216. BTC is right now at 96,365
