Bitcoin extends gains on the day to above 97k
Earlier this morning Bitcoin dropped back below 96k. The low seen as the European stock markets reopened was at 95,626. Since then it has been a steady rise and a short while ago BTC reached a session high at 97,547. The move seemed to gather pace after it took out the earlier Asian high, at 96,873. Beyond the levels seen now today, the reader is reminded of the low set earlier this week, at 98,943. That is still guarding the topside for the time being. To be honest this can do whatever it likes whilst inside the noted slightly wider range and not shift the dial much ahead of the month-end and the weekend. BTC is currently trading at 97,305
