Over the weekend Bitcoin tried to bounce, but any rebound seen on Saturday and Sunday fell short of rising back above 43,500. Earlier today the further gains in the US treasury yields and the dollar versus the Yen pushed the price down to below 42,500, as it took out the low seen on Friday afternoon, at 42,554. The low seen earlier today was set at 42,245 and came as the USD/JPY hit a session high above 148.80. However, that has backed off now and so BTC has lifted to around 42,800 in more recent trading. The wider market pricing dynamics look unchanged so far today and all that was noted here about that on Friday afternoon seems to remain in place at the start of the new week. Bitcoin is currently trading at 42,790
