Bitcoin builds a base ahead of 62k in weekend trading
On Friday afternoon Bitcoin fell back to a session low at 62,615. Earlier in the day the modest rebound had stalled above 66k, at 66,634 and that was covered in updates here at the time. BTC lifted slightly into the wider US close on Friday, but dipped again at the start of weekend trading, falling to a new interim low since Friday, at 62,330. However, the rebound from that low extended to almost 66k again late Saturday afternoon. The price action on Sunday was characterised by a dip back below 64k and then a rebound into the Asian opening last night. That rebound has been extended so far today to above 67k this time. The range so far today has been covered by 66,152 to 67,732. Bitcoin is just now trading at 67,460
