Bitcoin backs off a bit today
Yesterday the further gains in Bitcoin, noted in updates here, saw the lead cryptocurrency rise to a high at 72,732. However, despite coming close, it was not able to challenge the current all time high, set on March 14, at 73,797. The slight move lower extended into the wider US close and earlier today that led to a session low so far at 70,863. It is above that low now though, but yet to threaten the highs seen yesterday or that March 14 record. That might come later on, but for now the lead coin seems relatively range bound. The noted 21 day moving average is still rising again and in place right now at 68,353, This is now defining the base for the time being it seems. The high seen earlier today was set at 71,990. Bitcoin is currently trading at 71,180
