Big tech takes Nasdaq 100 lower again

Since the last update here on the Nasdaq 100, the index has suffered further selling and a lot of that is heavy losses across the big tech sector. The likes of Tesla (ahead of their Q1 earnings report tomorrow evening), Amazon, NVIDIA are all in the red and in some cases quite heavily so. Hence, the Nasdaq 100 busted below the low point seen last week, at 17,995 and has extended that fall to a low so far at 17,792. The index is very close to that low right now. There is no news out there yet to deter the bears and even if it does bounce from there, they will probably step in again at higher levels. The Nasdaq 100 is right now at 17,807
