Big Dow Jones names reporting before and after the closing bell today

There are a couple of large cap stocks reporting their Q4 earnings today. The most important of those is surely Apple (AAPL), but that comes after the closing bell tonight (at approximately 9.30pm GMT). It is worth noting here; that Apple is a Dow, S+P and Nasdaq 100 component. It is ranked number 1 on the Nasdaq and S+P, but only number 14 in the Dow Jones, nevertheless because of its broad based coverage, it can impact the whole US equity vista. In terms of the Dow Jones specifically today, we also have Visa (at 9.05pm), which is ranked 8 in the index. Ahead of the closing bell and before live trading resumes this afternoon we do have a Dow Jones heavyweight reporting and that is Caterpillar (CAT), at 11.30am GMT this morning and that stock sure can have an impact, as it ranked number 5 in the index. The markets are expecting Q4 EPS of $5.01 and earnings of $16.40 billion. Yesterday the Dow Jones was the least worst performing major US index. It closed 0.31% lower, at 44,713. Since that close and so far this morning, the Dow future has been pricing a higher opening today, currently around 44,880
