Further to an earlier update here, noting the comments from the BOE governor today, the Pound has lost traction versus the Euro again. The EUR/GBP hit a low earlier this week at 0.8311 and looked set to fall below the 0.8300 handle at some point. The EUR/GBP had closed in the US last night at 0.8325. The impact of what Bailey said earlier today has seen the Euro push above the recent highs over the past few days and for now undermined the prospect of further downside. The potential for the ECB to out-cut the BOE has now been placed in doubt following these remarks. The EUR/GBP has hit a session high so far at 0.8379. It is currently trading at 0.8377
