AUD/USD takes another hit as RBA hold rates

Before I say anything else, let me start by apologising for the lack of updates on Quick News yesterday. This was due to travel disruption that was beyond my control. Now earlier this morning, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) decided to leave their key benchmark OCR unchanged at 4.1%. That was the expected outcome by a majority of analysts, but it did not stop the AUD/USD from taking a further hit. The AUD/USD had closed in the US last night at 0.6363. It has just a moment ago fallen to its lowest level of the year, when dropping to 0.6313. That is also getting closer to the lows seen in October 2022, when it based out back then at 0.6170. The AUD/USD is just now trading at 0.6314
