AUD/USD reclaims 0.6400 handle today
The AUD/USD has broken above the 0.6400 handle today. The rise through that level extended as high as 0.6439 earlier this morning. The AUD/USD closed in the US last night at 0.6393 which was technically positive, because it was above its 50 day moving average (now at 0.6391) for the first time in many days. The weaker US dollar is the main driver for the further gains today and should this move higher continue, the next technical resistance level is at 0.6519 (current 100 day moving average). The low seen earlier today was set at 0.6389. The AUD/USD is currently trading at 0.6426
