Asian stocks mixed as US futures slip-check out the Dow Jones

The Asian stock markets have been mixed today with losses in China offset by gains in Japan. The latest PMI data out of China earlier today was mixed, with a slight gain in manufacturing more than offset by quite a miss in the service sector. That news has seemingly weighed on the US equity futures and right now those are all modestly in the red. The US closes last night were very even, with modest gains just over 0.30% seen across all three major indexes and perhaps we should not forget that today is the last trading day of the month. There are also another slew of earnings releases from the US due later today too. The highlight there is probably after the closing bell, when Amazon is due to report. There will be more to add on that later today. So, the Dow Jones actually came out on top last night, but only just, with a gain of 0.38%. The index closed at 38,386. The current futures price is suggesting a reopening at around 38,330
