There are no US economic releases as such today, but there is something that might shake the tree after the US stock markets reopen for the final session of the week. That is the seasonal adjustments to US CPI, but there is no time line for this data to be released. It remains to be seen what, if any impact this might have, but it will probably need to surprise, one way or the other to do so. Ahead of this the US equity futures are off their earlier session highs. The Nasdaq 100 rose to a new record yesterday, when it reached 17,814. The index later set it highest ever daily close, at 17,783. Earlier today the Nasdaq 100 futures were pricing a reopening close to 17,850, but right now they have pared that somewhat and are currently pricing the opening at around 17,815
