With less than one hour to go it looks like it will be another record opening all around for the US stock markets this afternoon. The S+P 500 (open yesterday at 5,038- close at 5,087), Nasdaq 100 (open yesterday at 17,857- close at 18,004) and Dow Jones (Open yesterday at 38,845-close at 39,069) are all right now set to bust their existing opening records. The S+P 500 is currently priced to reopen at 5,093, the Dow Jones at around 39,115 and the Nasdaq 100 at around 18,015. So, as things stand it looks like the tech led party focused on NVIDIA stock is set to extend into the weekend. It is hard to bet against this right now, and in the absence of any other serious news, it might be unwise too. There are no US data releases due this afternoon, so NVIDIA has the ball by the looks of it
