Another record for the DAX this afternoon ahead of the US opening

A little earlier this afternoon, as the latest US weekly jobless claims were hitting the screens, the DAX rose above the record high seen yesterday, at 21,330. The index then pushed to set a new all time high, at 21,344. It is not that far removed from that new record right now, ahead of the US stock markets reopening in around 15 minutes. Right now it seems like the odds of further records being set in the DAX this afternoon would appear to be quite high. Naturally, now we are again into uncharted territory, it is hard to plot where the next topside resting point might be, but  do not be surprised, if it is higher than were it is right now. The DAX is currently trading at 21,334
