Another record close for the DAX yesterday and a probable record opening again today

For a change yesterday the DAX was well beaten to the finishing post by the FTSE 100. That did not detract from the fact, that the DAX still set a record close. The index rose to 21,732 and did not close much below that new all time high, ending the session at 21,727. The index had reopened yesterday, at 21,676 and right now it looks set to better than record opening level this morning. Of course that outlook might change over the next hour and more, but as things currently stand we are looking at an opening just now around 21,740, but since the close last night that opening call has been closer to 21,800.
