Another modestly lower close for the Nasdaq 100
Yesterday the US equity markets all closed slightly lower on the day. The losses were not as heavy as looked likely earlier in the day though, especially for the Dow Jones and the S+P 500. The Nasdaq 100 was once again the worst performer, closing lower by 0.54%. Soon after the close though, all three index futures fell back further, but those losses have been recovered during the Asian session today. So, now a slightly higher reopening is currently being priced in for the Dow and the S+P, but not so for the Nasdaq. The index closed 96 points lower yesterday, at 17,874. It is currently priced to reopen at around 17,865 later today
