Another mixed opening for US stock markets- S+P 500 sets a new all time high
The US stock markets have just reopened for live trading and it has been a slightly mixed start to the day. The S+P 500 is just now setting a fresh opening record even as the Nasdaq 100 futures are slightly in the red. The Dow Jones is pushing to fresh records too and that is the driver for the S+P 500 to press to new records around 5,740. However, the price action across both the Nasdaq 100 and the Dow Jones is immediately pretty frenetic and chopping and changing as this update is concluded. So, we wait to see how any rotation between those two plays out as the session develops
