The US stock markets are set to open a little higher today, but not so far for the Nasdaq 100. However, the index of leading tech sector companies came out on top again yesterday. That is not to say it enjoyed a massive win, more so to note it managed a modestly higher close on the day. The Nasdaq 100 closed 17 points higher, at 15,313, after opening at exactly that level and subsequently dropping to a low at 15,220. The high at 15,343 was set shortly after the opening. The longer term trend, as defined by its rising 200 day moving average is positive and the price action on the current rebound remains above all of its longer term daily moving averages. That said, the Nasdaq 100 futures have not charged away so far today and as things currently stand, they are pricing a slightly lower opening, at around 15,300
