All change for the US equity markets following better US data-check out the Nasdaq 100 now

Earlier today the US stock markets reopened on the front foot and that saw all three major indexes push higher on the opening. Well, that was until the US JOLTS and ISM data completely derailed the gains. In truth the Nasdaq 100 was already turning lower (due to a volte face in NVDA), but this US data which has sent US yields higher as kicked it lower again. The Nasdaq 100 closed last night at 21,559. It reopened today at 21,619 and peaked barely above that, at 21,621. Since the release of the US data, the index has dropped back to 21,369. It is a little above that low now, but it remains to be seen, if it can recover. In truth it might do well to brush off this data and rise in yields by the close this evening. The index is right now at 21,410
