Shiba Inu is an ERC-20 token from the Shiba Inu ecosystem that was founded on the Ethereum blockchain. This coin was given the nickname of "the Dogecoin killer". It's the first token that will be listed on the decentralised ShibaSwap exchange after it launched. 

Shiba Inu is a decentralised ecosystem under development that includes features such as exchanging assets, NFTs, passive income instruments and more. The project creators' main idea is to give the community 100% rights to govern the protocol.

SHIB's issuance is 1 quadrillion tokens. A little less than 50% of SHIB have been blocked on the Uniswap exchange. The remaining 50% have been sent to Vitalik Buterin's public wallet.  By doing so, the project's developers provide users with an open market for the tokens to be distributed fairly. What's more, not one of them received SHIB tokens. Currently, around 394 trillion SHIB are in circulation, and the coin's capitalisation is $3.13 billion, earning it 34th place among cryptocurrencies by this indicator.
